In 1967, Chef Isidoro Balistreri came to San Diego from his native town of Aspra, a small village just outside Palermo, Sicily, bringing to you exquisite recipes from the “Old Country”.
In 1974, Isidoro and his wife, Maria, opened San Diego’s original Godfather Restaurant to bring you the treasured recipes of Northern and Southern Italy.
